Mary Byrne - PhD, MA, BA
I worked for 22 years in higher education as a lecturer, researcher and academic administrator. My focus was the development, delivery and evaluation of educational programmes (both online and face-to-face) for postgraduate students of medicine, nursing, allied health, social sciences, arts and humanities, as well as second-level teachers.
I qualified in proofreading and copy-editing from the Publishing Training Centre in London. I specialise in academic and other non-fiction work including reports, journal articles, training and instruction manuals, grant applications and books as well as websites and other digital resources.
Since 2008 I have worked on proofreading and copy-editing projects in diverse topics such as:
